I am so frustrated with wine shows. In fact, I think they add to the aristocracy of wine. But wine is not about what is in the glass, it is about why it is in the glass.
The people who decide for themselves that their life path includes making wine have a thread between them; a common passion and appreciation of the earth.
The Back Label seeks to peel this passion back and find the root (pun intended) of this endeavor.
As Vahe Keushguerian says in our episode "...it doesn't make sense as a business.." Then why do it!??!
Exactly the question we seek to answer...but maybe we never really get there, maybe it is undefinable. But we are going to try.
